Executive Director Update
What's next for Mill City Commons? We would like you to weigh in on the recommendations presented by the Aging in Place Task Force to the MCC Board last month. You'll find a summary of the report here. The 2011 Strategic Plan for Mill City Commons identified the need to build on social connections with better defined and additional strategies to achieve our mission to help members "maintain healthy and vibrant lives as we age". An Aging in Place Task Force of member volunteers led by Lou Burdick met from October to May with the charge to identify resources that will provide Mill City Commons members with the education, information and connections to help us make informed decisions as we adapt to inevitable "bumps in the road". For those who would like to learn more and add your voice, sign up to engage in dialogue with fellow members at one of three meetings (each limited to eight members) -- you'll find registration information below under "What's Next? Aging in Place at MCC" June 19 & 21.
