Executive Director Update
I am enjoying beautiful weather in California! The National Village Gathering started today -- MCC Board Chair Marcia Townley and I are learning from Villages from across the country. Every Village is different, reflecting its individual community and leadership. This movement is expanding throughout the nation and overseas.
A big thank you to all the MCC volunteers who responded to last week's request in my MCC End of Week Update. A special thanks to MCC Members Linda Willette and Carol Jordan for organizing volunteers to help with our addressing and mailing project! And an additional thank you to Carol for volunteering in the MCC office on Monday while I enjoyed a personal day.

Nosy Neighbor Tour: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church

Learn about the history of this historic church and enjoy its beauty on this private tour. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is the oldest continuously used church in the city of Minneapolis. It was designated a U.S. historic landmark in 1934 and is the first parish in the United States named in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Technology Workshop: Lion, iOS5 and iCloud

Andy Trawick will introduce us to Apple's latest innovations including iOS5 and iCloud. Learn how these new technologies can simplify your life. This is not an Apple only discussion as iCloud is available to Windows Vista and Windows 7 users. Andy will also discuss the Mac OS X Lion that came out this past summer. This workshop will include a lecture and hands on time -- bring your iPad, iPhone, or other device.
