Executive Director Notes
There are several MCC exclusive opportunities at the Guthrie Theater in the next few weeks you won't want to miss. Guthrie Theater dramaturg Jo Holcomb hosts two play readings this month. Jo assigns parts and distributes scripts -- it's a unique and very fun way to enjoy a play!
Join us Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. to read Much Ado About Nothing. In October, meet the actress who plays "Beatrice". Joanne Von Blon is hosting tea and conversation with Tony nominated Dearbhla Malloy at Joanne's loft from 3:30-5:00 p.m. on October 4 . Ms. Malloy is an accomplished Irish actress with many theater, movie and television credits.
Our second play reading is Tuesday, September 27 -- The Burial at Thebes. After reading the play, hear playwright Seamus Heaney "In Conversation" with Joe Dowling Monday, October 3 @ 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through the Guthrie box office. Many thanks to our friends at the Guthrie for providing MCC with such wonderful activities! - Linnea
