Executive Director Notes
The Mill City Commons Strategic Planning Committee, selected by the Board of Directors, has been meeting this summer and plans to present their work to membership in the fall. They developed the MCC Member Survey as part of the process and are using members' responses in their strategic planning. The survey has given us valuable feedback on how we can improve and also reinforced that we are doing a lot of things well. Here is a brief overview of survey results:
- 97% agree or strongly agree that MCC is fulfilling its mission; 94% said MCC has become part of their community.
- 93% rated that "Meeting new friends and neighbors" was valuable to very valuable and the # 1 value of membership (60% very valuable). 68% of our members chose it as one their top three values of membership. Cultural Programming and Educational Programming tied for second.
- 96% of members rated overall satisfaction as satisfied or better.
- 95% of members would probably or definitely recommend MCC.
We truly appreciate our members' feedback and encourage ongoing input! -- Linnea
