Social Bridge 

Wednesday June 15, 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm;  Stone Arch Lofts Community Room, 600 S. 2nd St. 


Join advanced or intermediate bridge players for a round of social Bridge. Come with a partner at your level. (Advanced players play all the major conventions comfortably.) If you need help finding a partner, contact Linnea Tweed at 612-455-3329, and she will assist you.  Play begins immediately at 3:00 pm.

MCC Golf  

Thursday June 16, 9:04 am & 9:12 am tee times. Gross National Golf Club, 2201 St. Anthony Boulevard 


Join your friends and neighbors for a round of golf at this nearby public course. We've reserved two tee times. If possible, players should make their reservations with MCC one week in advance. (Cancellations can be made 36 hours in advance.) Let Linnea (612-455-3329) know whether you plan to play 9 or 18 holes.

Stone Arch Festival

Stone Arch Festival of the Arts  

Saturday and Sunday, June 18-19, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Information Booth in front of St. Anthony Main Theater, 115 Main Street 


We're looking for volunteers! Provide directions and information to visitors of the festival and promote Mill City Commons.  Three hour shifts from 9:30-12:30, 12:30-3:30, and 3:30-6:30 both days.

Education: Succeeding in the Knowledge Economy 

Monday June 20, 7:00 to 9:00 pm; Winslow House, Garden & Community Room, 100 2nd St SE 


Tom Evers, Twin Cities Executive Director for Playworks, will introduce this national nonprofit organization to MCC members through demonstration, games and conversation. Founded in 1996 Playworks is the only nonprofit organization in the country to send trained, full-time coaches to low-income, urban schools.

Legacy Series: Demystifying Hospice and Palliative Care Wheat

Tuesday June 21, 3:30 to 5:00 pm; Winslow House Community Room, 100 2nd St SE 


Pam Schaid is Executive Director of Hospice of the Twin Cities.  Pam has worked in hospice for 20 years, both as a registered nurse and executive director.  Her passion for hospice care stems from personal loss experiences and her 33 years as a registered nurse working in intensive care settings, oncology and palliative care.

Join host Patty Canney for this month's happy hour and a half.  The patio fills up quickly on beautiful days, so we're starting early.  Catch up with friends and neighbors over drinks and small bites.  Dutch treat!

  River Walkers

All level of walkers welcome for this early morning walk along the banks of the Mississippi River. An MCC volunteer leads each walk.


Hatha Yoga

Wednesdays and Fridays,

8:00 - 9:15 am

This alignment-based class is held at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis, 212 3rd Ave N, Suite 205.

Purchase a 12-class pass for $132 directly from YCM to use as your schedule allows, or drop in on a class for $12.50.
