The World Premiere of Penumbra Theatre's production of I Wish You Love is currently playing in St. Paul. Mill City Commons has reserved group tickets @ $38 each for Thursday, May 19 @ 7:30 p.m. I need a final count this Thursday, May 5 to reserve this block. Members and guests are welcome.

Legacy Series: Examining Advance Directives

Learn the difference between a living will, an advance directive and physician orders for life sustaining treatment. Then we'll walk you through the steps to complete the Minnesota Health Care Directive. Barb Blumer will speak on these topics. She led the Minnesota State Bar Association initiative to establish the Minnesota Health Care Directive in 1998, and continues to provide leadership in various aspects of advance care planning law and policy.

Guthrie Play Reading - God of Carnage
Tuesday, May 17, 6:30 - 9:30 pm; Guthrie Theater, 818 South 2nd St., 8th Floor, Livingston Conference Room
Play readings are hosted by a member of the Guthrie Staff or an Artist affiliated with the play. Participants will be assigned parts for reading and may rotate parts as necessary. All selections correspond with plays being staged at the Guthrie. No theater experience necessary, come one and all!
God of Carnage is a self-proclaimed "comedy of manners ...without manners" in which the parents of two boys involved in a playground scuffle meet to discuss, logically and amiably, how to deal with the boys.

Artist Gallery Talk: Joe Paquet

Joe Paquet creates most of his work from life, believing that the direct correspondence with nature increases the potential for greater feeling. Paquet's awards include both Artist's Choice and Collector's Choice from The 2007 Laguna Beach Plein Air Invitational as well as numerous others.
MCC member Scott Parkin has invited Joe Parquet to display his art at Hoffman Parkin Urban Realty. On Saturday, Joe will discuss his love of the Plein Air technique. Make this part of your Art-A-Whirl weekend!
