The 2nd Annual Canadian Water Summit: Opportunities for Designing Our Water Future
Summit
How can we satisfy our thirst for water and make the most of our liquid
assets? Discover opportunities for innovation, strategic collaboration and
proactive intervention to design solutions for a sustainable water future at
the 2011 Canadian Water Summit.
The Canadian Water Summit is a first-of-its-kind conference in Canada,
fulfilling the need for idea exchange and collaboration between diverse
stakeholders at the forefront of shaping Canada's sustainable water future.
The inaugural Canadian Water Summit in June 2010 brought together 300
leaders from business, government and civil society.
Join us again for the 2011 Canadian Water Summit, "Opportunities for
Designing our Water Future," which will take an even bigger dive into
Canadian water issues and focus on practical solutions to common challenges
in the areas of risk, energy, agriculture, and cities.
Program highlights include:
Risk:
. Water disclosure is changing policy and practice in business. Hear it
straight from CDP Water Disclosure.
. Learn about new water mapping tools to help you manage risk.
Energy:
. Water needs energy. Energy needs water. We need both. Understand how to
profit from both intelligently.
Cities:
. Upgrading water infrastructure in our cities could cost $80 billion.
Are we prepared? Find out at the Summit?
Agriculture:
. Agriculture is our largest water consumer. How do we make every drop
count?

5th Brazil Film Fest
Festival
Partnership and sponsorship opportunities for 2011's Festival.
Over the past few years, slowly but steadily, Brazil has been climbing the heights to become the 5th biggest economy in the world, and now it's even preparing to host two of the most important global events: the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and the 2014 World Cup. All this has inspired the 5th Brazil Film Fest in Toronto to begin a celebration of the diverse and rich culture of Brazil's many states, starting in 2011 with the theme of Bahia, a place for everybody.
The Brazil Film Fest not only showcases Brazilian films, but also works to create opportunities to develop and consolidate professional and creative contacts between Brazil and Canada. If your company has an active presence in the Canadian and/or the Brazilian markets, or if your company wants to have a presence in these two markets, the festival can be the opportunity you have been looking for.
The 2010 Brazil Film Fest had partnerships and co-presentations with some of the most influential arts/film festivals of Toronto, like Hot Docs, Inside Out and Contact Toronto Photography Festival. It also had a great media coverage and marketing effort, with paid ads in the print media, and posters spread throughout the city, which helped to raise the Festival's presence in Toronto. For this year, the Festival is co-presenting a film with Hot Docs and there are much more to come.
Your sponsorship for 2011 will help consolidate your marketing strategy, either introducing or reinforcing your brand amongst a highly qualified audience of Brazilians and Canadians.
When: October 27th to 30th, 2011
Where: Opening night at TIFF Bell Lightbox and all other screenings at The Royal at 608 College St.
