I once served foreclosure papers to a woman who was a hoarder.  The home that the bank was foreclosing on was jam-packed with her possessions. In fact, her hoarding habit had outgrown the house. According to the woman's neighbors, her property was so full of things that there was no room left for her to conduct her daily life. She had moved out of the home and was renting the house behind her neighbors. Her neighbors stated that the woman had been ordered to clean up all of the junk several times, but she never did. When I approached the driveway I thought I was at a junk yard. The neighbors advised me to stay on the path between the junk in order to get to the front door. You can see from the picture I took on my IPhone how scary and risky this was, but I was able to navigate my way to the door and post the papers. Job done, of course, but after what I saw inside that house, I will never look at bread the same way again.
