From Finance to Farming: One Couple's Journey from Wall Street to Sustainable Agriculture

Robin and Jon McConaughy, former investment bankers and current owners of Double Brook Farm in Hopewell, NJ, will share insights about responsible, thoughtful approaches to local agriculture and food production. Human Trafficking in the 21st Century Workshop

The Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination's Program on Women in International Relations in cooperation with Princeton Against Sex Trafficking is hosting a workshop on human trafficking March 30-31 on the Princeton University campus. The two day event will bring together policy makers, practitioners, activists, and academics to address the politics and economics of trafficking, the successes and limitations of on-the-ground interventions by NGOs, and ways to address the global problem of trafficking in the United States and abroad.

Emerging Leaders: A Princeton AlumniCorps Professional Development Program

Emerging Leaders is an affordable, high quality professional development program that creates a cohort of exceptional young leaders and boosts their impact on the nonprofit sector. Participants interact with a range of top-level executives and broaden their sector-wide knowledge through sessions facilitated by a highly trained executive coach. The Class of 1978 Foundation seeks student applicants needing funds to pursue community service projects this summer in the U.S. or abroad.

MIMA Music Workshop
Monday, April 7
MIMA Music, Inc. a US-based educational nonprofit company, uses music improvisation to engage and enrich underserved communities. Part of their mission specifically is use volunteers and staff to teach methods of creative musical expression to at-risk youth. Come to the Saturday, April 7 MIMA workshop at Princeton to experience inspiration, transformation, creation and celebration with song-writing, film and media training workshops led by MIMA teachers, and an interdisciplinary symposium led by Professors Stanley Katz (Woodrow Wilson) and Scott Burnham (Religion).

The Class of 1961 Foundation seeks proposals from undergraduates and faculty who are interested in implementing a community service project, in the U.S. or outside the U.S. Proposals must meet the Class' goal of "...making a meaningful contribution to the people and habitat of the country and the world in a manner that reinforces the value of the Princeton experience."
