Welcome

This week Ted returns from his time away. Welcome back, Ted!

Thanks from Randy

Dear Parishioners of All Saints,

Just this week I received and saw for the first time the lovely handcrafted stole signed by more that 200 All Saints parishioners on the day that I retired as your Rector. Thank you so much for this personal remembrance of our ministry together, and please be assured that I will treasure it always.

Church Security Update

The Vestry had a special meeting to discuss the challenges confronting our church in providing help to the needy and, at the same time, safety for our members, staff and property. Lee White will speak at both services this Sunday to give our members an update of how we are dealing with these challenges. To read the minutes of Sunday's special meeting, click HERE

'Like' All Saints on Facebook!
As part of our work for the Rector Search Committee, Don Holm, Steve Day, Sam Matson and I met this week and created an All Saints page for Facebook. We hope it will be a good resource for sharing information about the church.

After we created the page we discovered that a Facebook page for All Saints already existed, although it does not appear to be active.  It would be helpful if this page could be removed so as not to cause confusion with the new page. If you know who created the page, please contact Don, Steve, Sam, or me. In addition, we would love input on how to enhance what we post and how to attract more eyeballs to the site.

If you have a Facebook account, please go to our page ("All Saints Wolfeboro") and 'like' us.  And, of course, encourage all of your pals to like the page, too.

Thanks,
Phoebe
Enews Now on Website
If you use Metrocast for your email service and find that some weeks you do not receive the Enews, there is a solution. Each week, the Enews is archived on the church website (www.wolfesaints.com). Go to the homepage and click on "Archived Enews". Most weeks the All Saints Enews is sent out by mid-afternoon on Friday, so if you don't see it in your in box by then, check the website and you'll be up-to-date. Questions? Please contact Phoebe at pheebzmail@roadrunner.com.
Blood Drive Volunteers Needed
All Saints' is hosting and sponsoring a blood drive on Saturday, September 22nd. We are in need of some volunteers and some baked goods. There will be two shifts: 9:45 - 1 and 12:45 - 4. Volunteer opportunities include: one greeter, two donor escorts, two canteen servers, one registration assistant, two refreshment volunteers and two people at 8 am and 4 pm to help set up and take down. They provide some snacks and juice but anything else baked by us is welcome. Please let me know if you are willing to help this blood drive be successful. Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board. Thank you.

CROP Walk

The CROP Walk for hunger is Sunday October 14th. For details, contact Susan Fuller at 515-1223.

Volunteer Harvesters Needed

Food pantry garden The LIFE Ministries Food Pantry Garden is in need of volunteers to help pick the produce that is now coming in. Beans, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes are ready now with peppers, carrots, potatoes, and onions coming along well. Volunteers meet Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings about 8:30 and pick for an hour or two, depending on the number of volunteers. If you could come by even once, you'd be helping to give a needy neighbor some healthy fresh vegetables. Please call Susan Poirier at 569-0236 for more information or directions.
