A Thank You from the Giessler Family

Dear All Saints Friends,

I want to thank you so much for the wonderful baptism service we enjoyed for Gabriel last Sunday. Our families felt very warmly welcomed by each of you. Special thanks to all who provided such thoughtful cards, toys, clothes, books and mementos for Gabe's faith box.  As for our rector, we sure appreciate Randy squeezing in this "last minute Louie" dunking session for our youngest fella! We are blessed, indeed, to be part of such a welcoming, generous, and accommodating church family of Saints.

Phoebe VanScoy-Giessler

P.S. In the "above and beyond" category, we cannot express enough how grateful we are to Phil Wasmuth for taking so many great photos of our motley crew. He's probably the only person who could get that many VanScoys and Giesslers to stand still long enough for a photo!

Raffle Baskets for Summer Fair

What's in Your Basket? New this year - a donation form for Raffle Baskets has been created, along with a list of suggestions for baskets. The form and list will be available in the undercroft starting this Sunday. It can also be emailed - just send a request to Carolyn at csundquist@roadrunner.com. We are asking anyone interested in donating a basket to fill out the form and return by June 21st. Finished basket should be brought to the church no later than July 7th. This will enable us to start publicizing and selling tickets in advance of the fair.

Slide Show for Randy & Lynn

Thanks to great participation of the congregation providing photos! Phil Wasmuth has done it again!

This is the link for the show. It lasts 9 minutes.

Looking back thru the years at All Saints' with Randy and Lynn:  http://philwasmuth.phanfare.com/5623047

A little background on the music used on the video: The first song was chosen because Randy and Lynn are positive and a joy to be around.  The second song obviously applies to Randy and Lynn, as a new life begins for them., but also applies to our church.  The third song was chosen because it speaks to not only a central belief as a Christian for Randy, but also speaks to who we are as a church.

Reminder for Randy's Celebration on June 24th

Here are a few reminders:

There's just one service at 10 a.m. A large crowd is expected.

For those who can, it would be helpful if they park in the Huggins Hospital lot. Hospital has already given permission to use it.

We may fill every available pew, so we have extra ushers scheduled and  may need a chair at the end of each pew. Ushers should arrive early.

The ECW, with your help, is preparing lots of good food. Gail Holm is making her excellent punch, there will be iced tea, lemonade, champagne  and wine. If you would like to make a favorite dish, check the new posted  list to see what people are already bringing.

After the service, we will gather downstairs, walk through the undercroft, where there'll be Phil's continuing slideshow based on photos gathered from Randy's years at All Saints, and into the courtyard, where Phil and Dianne Wasmuth will serve as masters of ceremonies. We start with some refreshments while people are gathering, then we have a short program with a song, a poem, presentation of a gift and remarks by Senior Warden Lee White, another song, and time to continue the celebration. A copy of the program will be available for all.

An additional celebration with some of the wider community Randy has served will be held later on at Cate Park from 4 to 6 p.m. in the form of an ice cream social catered by Bailey's Bubble with jazz concert by the Moose Mountain Jazz Band and remarks by Lanny Bailey. Even if you don't like

ice cream, we hope you will come to this event, too, celebrating our rector's impact in the community beyond All Saints.

Many of the ladies of the parish plan to wear a special hat to the celebration. Please feel free to wear a hat yourself!
