2 weeks. 88 pianos. 8 million New Yorkers.
The Pop-Up Pianos are here! For the past 12 days, Sing for Hope's Pop-Up Pianos have brought creative outlets and summertime fun to more than 1,000,000 New Yorkers! Made possible by the volunteerism of hundreds of Sing for Hope Volunteer Artists, the Pop-Up Pianos symbolize our belief that art belongs to everyone. At the end of their tour of duty in NYC's public spaces, our pianos will be donated to the schools and hospitals we serve, where they will continue to enliven communities for years to come. To learn more, please click here and read on below about our Pop-Up Pianos auction, our Pop-Up Pianos contests, and a few other special opportunities!

This is a rare opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind art piano created by iconic New York City artists and designers. Among the pianos being auctioned are works by Isaac Mizrahi, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Kate Spade. All net profits from the Pop-Up Pianos Auction will support Sing for Hope's Art U! program, which provides dynamic arts and leadership education to under-resourced students across our city. Each one of the 88 Pop-Up Pianos on New York City streets has been painted by a Sing for Hope Volunteer Artist who shares our mission of bringing the arts to all. These professional visual artists volunteered hundreds of hours in our piano warehouse to bring their Pop-Up Pianos to life! Click here to learn more about them.
