But, if you absolutely have to have someone walk you through it - or you just want someone to walk you through it - we offer hand holding phone support in blocks of time at $124.80 per hour or $31.20 for a single incident of 15 minutes or less.
When you call in, we keep track of your time by the minute once our technician has engaged you. Our minimum billing length is 15 minutes - so if you need only to speak for five minutes the call will be charged as if 15 minutes ($31.20). And if you need to speak for 16 minutes, the call will be billed at 16 x $2.08 or $33.28. So calls under 15 minutes charged at the 15 minute rate. And calls over 15 minutes are charged by the minute. Summer Epson printer storage solution
Summer is nearly upon us which means for many of you that it's time to turn off the printers for a few months. If you have to leave yours off for more than a three weeks, we advise that you fill the print heads (of desktop printers) and the ink lines, dampers and print heads of large format printers with our PiezoFlush™ solution. PiezoFlush is not a clear ink base that has been stained with pink dye. While that's an ok solution as a flushing fluid to change from one ink formulation to another - it's not the same as the safe solvent system of the aqueous PiezoFlow which we formulate ourselves right here in Topsham, VT. PiezoFlush is strong enough to be used as a cleaning fluid and safe enough for long term storage. And that makes it the best flushing fluid that you can buy.

What you want to do is fill up a set of refillable carts with some PiezoFlush. A little goes a long way.... For desktops you need only about 10ml in a cartridge so you can get by with a 4oz(125ml) or 8oz(250ml) bottle. But for large format you will use at least 20ml of fluid in the power clean operation. So consider a purchase of at least 32oz. For desktop after you install, two head cleanings and a nozzle check will confirm that the heads are now filled with PiezoFlush. You can safely turn off your printer. For the large format printers you will need to perform 2-3 power cleanings before you will notice a nozzle check with pink fluid. Then its safe to turn off your printer.
One set of carts will work in a number of printers that are of the same model... so no need to buy 3 sets of 4880 carts because you have three 4880 printers. After confirming the pink nozzles - shut the printer down and move the carts to the next printer.
When you return, you simple reinstall your ink carts - perform the same amount of power cleans until you confirm ink at the nozzles - and print! You'll thank us both that you PiezoFlushed your printer before shutting it down for the Summer.
