Welcome to the first instalment of Investment Management Musings. You have been sent this newsletter as one of the over 2000 strong who have helped build and apply the investment management standard. This biannual newsletter will be used to inform you of what's new, what's coming up and any new opportunities in investment management. A lot has changed over the last few years, here are just a few snippets.

Are you ready to SLIP - New Guideline
Understanding and Evaluating a Potential Investment Introducing the new Service Logic and Investment Prioritisation (SLIP) guideline. This guideline has been developed to improve the way that policy and strategy can be translated into a set of investments that will be able at deliver the desired policy outcomes.
It has evolved through its use in major new policy areas and addressing the new service needs of government departments.
New approach to facilitator training for 2010!
There is an expanded program of training options available to those people who wish to become accredited facilitators as well as those who are interested in understanding and using the standard more thoroughly.

These facilitator training courses are provided by Fankhauser and Associates Pty Ltd. who are the contracted resource for investment management facilitation training.
