Meredith Kendall
Have you seen this lady?

Chances are, unless you are moving at the speed of light and fueled by passion for impacting single mothers and their children, you've not been able to catch Meredith Kendall!

Meredith is one of the co-founders of Against the Grain, and has recently been named Executive Director of Against the Grain.

Meredith oversees all of the daily operations of AtG as well as teaching and mentoring over 25 hours each week in the Williamson County Jail, Job Training, and the 180 Program. Her husband, Rob Kendall, is the other co-founder of AtG and continues to be involved behind the scenes, focusing on development, grant-writing, and special events.

"Gus"
Have you met Gus?

We are very excited to have Rod & Laura Waggoner teaching during the group Kids 180 meeting every month. Using music, Bible lessons and puppets, they are teaching that our identity is found in God alone and that He created each of us as His masterpiece.

If you've not met "Gus" or heard the incredible original music, you can't imagine what you're missing! Come check it out on the 1st Thursday of the month! Email us to add your name to the invitation list!

Ways to Support AtG
Please contact info@atghope.org for details
Head over heels with HOPE!
  • Legacy Builder- monthly financial partner
  • Donations of Wal-Mart gift cards or non-food items for our incentive pantry (Mothers earn "cash" to shop the pantry as they stretch their monthly budgets)
  • Donations such as cars, clothing, etc for mothers who have secured a job but need transportation or professional attire
  • Do you have a special skill or passion? We often have volunteer opportunities that do not require an on-going commitment.
  • Share this newsletter to a friend who may not know about the mission of AtG
