SAINT PAUL AREA CHAMBER VOTES TO SUPPORT SAINT PAUL PUBLIC SCHOOL LEVY REQUEST
(SAINT PAUL, MINN., AUGUST 21, 2012) - The Saint Paul Area Chamber Board of Directors voted today to support the school district's levy request. The unanimous vote reflected the Board's analysis that the levy request was targeted at measureable activities that will strengthen outcomes for students and staff of the district. The Chamber's Public Affairs committee had previously met and voted to recommend full support. "The Saint Paul Public School District has proven to be a strong leader in educational reform and student achievement," said Matt Kramer, President of the Chamber. "Recognizing that these are the future employees of our members, we are committed to seeing that our young men and women emerge from the public education system as the leaders we know they can be."
