At Cenergy, all personnel are on-boarded through our industry leading HSSE program. We ensure that each consultant meets not only the client's HSSE requirements, but ours as well. We conduct assessment testing prior to placement to ensure competency on the job.
All of our personnel meet the following criteria: drug and alcohol tested (and enrolled in a DISA-random program as applicable); physically fit for work; verified training and certifications; and completed client-specific safety orientation.
Cenergy's HSSE team interfaces with the client's safety representative to review and assist with applicable safety policies, procedures, required training and requests for certificates based upon the scope of work and location. Our management staff, including the President, attend client safety sessions.
Cenergy's HSSE Team reviews the following with our consultants: insurance verification, drug and alcohol testing, statistical incident verification, desktop safety questionnaire review, fit for duty, and client contractor handbook review.
We are dedicated to identifying, correcting and preventing health, safety and environmental hazards which could adversely affect our personnel, our customers or the general public. Using our "STOP WORK AUTHORITY" commitment, all Cenergy representatives have the right, the responsibility, and the authority to stop any work activity when any condition exists they consider unsafe to themselves, other personnel, visitors or the environment.
Cenergy invests significant capital on a yearly basis in safety training through the J.J. Keller Online Training programs. The goal of safety and health training is to improve the performance of our consultants. It comes down to behavioral change. Cenergy's Achieving Safety Together (C.A.S.T.) program creates an environment where we recognize and address safety issues on a daily basis and focus on continuous improvement. Our managers are encouraged to define the behaviors that produce positive results, ensure everyone understands these types of behaviors, and consistently monitor and evaluate the presence of these behaviors in the workplace.
Cenergy has received numerous awards from a variety of organizations to recognize our dedication to safety in the oil and gas industry, including Chevron's President's Recognition for Accomplishments in Safety and Environment.
As President of Cenergy, I would like to thank our team for their personal commitment to our success and making safety not just a priority, but a way of life.
