I celebrate the arrival of summer "gloriously." I just received notice that the opening scene of GLORY was given honorable mention in the "Strong Scenes Contest." I consider this a worthy accomplishment, especially since it was the single most difficult scene I have ever written. I rewrote it countless times and was still revising it even as it went to press.
