CSL Success!
Special Congratulations
Congratulations to all teams who competed in CSL play this year helping SBSC to a club winning record of 178-139-52. I would also like to applaud the 10 SBSC teams that earned promotion this season especially those who finished as Champions. No SBSC Teams were relegated.
SBSC had 3 coaches guiding both their teams to promotion this season, with another team recording a perfect season.
Congratulations to Coaches:

- Lloyd Biggs (BU17 & GU19)
- Jeff Johnson (GU11W & GU14W)
Special mention goes to coach Rudy Ybarra who had the BU14 white team finish as champions in Silver Elite and BU12 white team finish 2nd in Gold (The highest level of competition for U12 in Southern California). They also Won the CSL League Cup.
Congratulations to the BU10 white team for going 12-0-0 in Bronze scoring 100 goals and conceding only 8. |

Champions! - BU12 White
BU12 White Coached by Rudy & Jnr Ybarra helped stake their claim to being the #1 team in Southern California by winning the CSL League Cup. Congratulations goes to the boys, who finished 2nd in Gold this season, for a hard fought win in the championship game against the team that beat them to 1st place in league play, South Bay Gunners. SBSC overcame their oponnents by a score of 2-1. Read More...........
Olders U14-19
BU16 White had the best run making it to the semi-finals before losing on Pk's to Celtic Harps. This team has proven its tournament pedigree over the last 2 seasons having won State Cup in April '09 and making it to final of the Presidents Cup National Tournament in July '09.
Recognition also goes to the GU16 & BU17 White who made it all the to the Quarter finals as well as GU15 & BU19 who made it to the sweet 16.
Youngers U9-U13
SBSC saw 3 of its younger teams make it all the way to the round of 16. BU10, 11 & 12 White all qualified to compete at this prestigious level with only the eventual Champions BU12 advancing.
Recognition goes to the BU13 White also who made it to the round of 32. |

Jonnie Requejo of the SBSC BU14 White Team has earned himself a prestigious place on the BU14 National Team squad for their trip to Guadelajara, Mexico in January, 2010. 3 Older SBSC Teams chose to travel to San Diego this past Thanksgiving weekend to compete in the Nationally recognised Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament. College Coaches from all over the country were in attendance and the SBSC GU19, BU19 & BU17 were intent on showing all onlookers exactly what they are capable of.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Santa Barbara Soccer Club is a professional soccer club consisting of a board of Directors, 3 full time staff (2 Directors and an Administrator),16 paid coaches and 29 boys & girls teams from the ages of U9 - U19.
U8 DEVELOPMENT
SBSC also runs a U8 development Program that allows for the aspiring soccer athlete that focuses purely on the development of the individual soccer player. If you know someone that could benefit from this great program contact Billy@santabarbarasc.org
