Carl is Dead...
When this ordeal began, we knew Adam had a tumor in his chest, but did not know if it was cancer or something begnin. We even hesitated to use the term tumor, so Adam named the growth Carl.
This week we learned Carl is dead - there is no hyperbolic activity coming from the mass. Thanks to the treatments he has received, the tumor is no longer showing any activity in his scans.
The scans also showed resolution of one of the three spots on his spine. In other words, it's gone too.
There are no words to describe the joy we all feel this week. Getting such positive news following the outpouring of support from people at Adam's Eve, we all feel blessed.
Adam will continue with his treatments. He began another heavy round on Monday. Yet somehow, the treatments seem easier when you know they work.

An Amazing Night - Adam's Eve:
Thank you to everyone who supported Adam at our benefit concert on Saturday. From those who came to the event to those who donated to the extensive raffle, it was an amazing show of support.
There are so many people to thank for their help with
the event. From the food to the raffles to the extensive organization
of labor - everything was donated or volunteered. Special thanks to
the performers, The Fugitives and Tommy Keys, along with Vail Levitt
for donating their talents and performance space. And a hats off to Dan for creating and organizing the entire event.
As Adam said, he hopes all of you will have an opportunity to experience the generosity and compassion of the human spirit as he has. Your support is the silver lining of his ordeal.
