We've got stories for you about new workshops, new products, new charitable giving, new giveaways and new ideas!

Soap Making Workshops continue!
Some places still available thru APRIL and MAY

Want to learn how to make your own luxurious soaps for personal use, for gift giving or maybe for your own small business? Sign up for a fun and informative cold process soap making workshop today!

In these enjoyable 2-hour workshops, limited to eight participants, we teach you how to make your own batch of cold-process soap from scratch.

We throw in a little bit of theory, lots of practical advice, some tea, cookies and fun, and best of all, you'll go home with three pounds of your own handcrafted soap as well as the know-how to create more soaps at home!

Our workshops are scheduled up to six weeks in advance, so go to our website or visit us in-store for more details.

Don't want to attend a workshop?  Pick up one of our do-it-yourself soap making kits, complete with easy-to-read instructions.

Our Coast. Our Decision.

notankersIt's a straightforward argument of environmental and economic trade-offs, and the environment will lose unless we take action.
The oil companies want to gain an extra few dollars per barrel of oil by building new pipelines from Alberta to the BC coast, and shipping their oil to Asia. The potential for disastrous oil spills from tankers navigating our coastal waters is immense. The damage caused by a spill to our coastal communities could be catastrophic. The oil companies will gain from this, we as British Columbians will not. We urge you to sign the Dogwood Initiative NO TANKERS petition in-store today, or go to notankers.ca for more information.

We're cleaning out our storage room!

At least once a year
we clean up our stockroom in order to receive new inventory.  We always come across items that are no longer needed in the operation of the business, or items that have been removed from sale.
All of our surplus furniture and other items are listed on-line, priced to sell, at Used Victoria. Take a look!
