Greetings!
Six years in business! The Good Planet Company began with the goal of providing Victorians with natural, organic and earth-friendly products, and thanks to you, our loyal customer, we've been able to double our retail space, triple our staff, and quadruple the number of products on our shelves!
But we're not resting on our laurels...we have countless plans and ideas in the works, and a continual rollout of new products and services during 2010. We urge you to check out our new and improved website at goodplanet.com, and to check out our new Spring 2010 products, which are coming in weekly. We hope that you might also drop by the store to take advantage of our birthday celebration sale, which runs from February 19th to the 28th.
As a small, locally owned and operated independent business, we truly wouldn't have made it this far without your support. Thank you!

Good Living Tip
Indoor Air Quality

Spring
time is drawing near, and with it come thoughts of spring cleaning
and freshening our living spaces. Have you considered your home's air
quality? The winter months often bring a lack of air circulation,
which can aid in the accumulation of dust and Volatile Organic
Compounds. Add to that the use of conventional candles, chemical
based air fresheners, fabric refreshers, and cleaners, you have a
rather unpleasant cocktail that you and your family are breathing in.
Consider the following tips to improve the quality of the air in your
living space:
As
outdoor temperature permits, open all your windows and allow fresh
air to circulate
Consider
making the switch to non-toxic cleaners. Not only are they just as
effective at getting the job done, they also tend to have a less
overpowering scent.
Use
a vacuum with a HEPA filter, and dust often
If
you don't already enjoy the presence of plants in your home,
consider adding some excellent toxin removers such as English Ivy,
Spider Plants, Ficus, and Chinese Evergreen
If
you enjoy the ambiance of candles burning, invest in some pure beeswax candles which are natural air purifiers
Choose
No-VOC paints and carpets made of natural fibers if you are planning
to renovate
If
you feel your space requires an extra burst of "freshening" and
don't want to give up air fresheners, consider switching to an
essential oil based product, such as our Good Planet Aromatherapy Room Sprays
