BC "Jobs Start Here" Job Fairs
The BC "Jobs Start Here" Job Fairs are part of Canada Starts Here: The BC Jobs Plan. As part of the plan, a series of job fairs will take place in 24 different BC communities, connecting British Columbians who are looking for work with employers who are looking for qualified employees.
The job fairs are not targeted at a particular age group and employer participation across all sectors will be engaged. In addition to employers, post-secondary educational institutions, industry associations, training authorities and heath authorities will also be in attendance.
The Province is trying to identify employers in each community that may be interested in participating. If you are interested contact
Jiana Ling at 604-646-3561 or jling@pacegroup.com

Caroline Miller
Account Manager
Kelowna Chamber of Commerce
The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce Caroline Miller, as the new Sales Manager. Caroline has twenty years experience in the marketing and public relations world, ten of those spent as Marketing Manager, Canada, for Cathay Pacific Airways. She has won numerous public relations and advertising campaign awards, and is a specialist in strategic marketing planning and execution. With experience in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, Caroline is well-positioned to assist The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce in its ongoing growth and business support programs.
Looking after new membership initiatives and working directly with Chamber members, Caroline looks forward to greeting colleagues and newcomers to the City in her new position. Her Kelowna experience includes the role of General Manager for the Okanagan Symphony and the Kelowna Community Music School. She spent the past seven months working for an aviation ground handling company, Strategic Aviation, as part of a team seeking new business opportunities. She also researches and writes municipal cultural plans.
In her spare time, she sits as a Director of the Central Okanagan Charitable Gaming Association, and is a Director with the Early Music Society. Her comment on the Chamber: "This is a terrific group of people, a wonderful Board, and an eclectic membership: all reaching for the same goal - keep Kelowna a thriving place to do business, and participate in BC's solid economy. I'm delighted to be part of this dynamic initiative."
