Downtown Plan...Stay Informed

 Kelowna's Downtown Plan 2011

The City of Kelowna has completed its draft Downtown Plan. Residents and businesses are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed projects, policies and financial considerations in support of the 10-year plan for Downtown.

The plan will put into action a multidisciplinary urban design approach to Kelowna's downtown for the next 10 years.  Through community-based engagement and collaboration, the plan can achieve strong support from stakeholders, the public and City Council.

Gas Tax Fund Delivers 1.25 Million to Kelowna

  

Through projects to reduce energy consumption at Kelowna International Airport and other city-owned buildings, the City of Kelowna will soon reduce significantly its greenhouse gas emissions, thanks to $1.25 million from Canada's Gas Tax Fund.
