"The activity of the child has always been looked upon as an expression of his vitality. But his activity is really the work he performs in building up the man he is to become. It is the incarnation of the human spirit."

Spread some Hoppiness this Spring!

Providence House (Home for Victims of Domestic Violence) is looking for Easter basket goodies to give to its resident children.

We will be collecting donations for filling Easter baskets until Monday, March 22nd in the green tub near the drop-off area. Items that are great for filling baskets include bags of jellybeans, chocolate bunnies, plastic eggs, small toys, etc.  Questions?  Contact Jennifer Levas at
jlevas@redfishsoft.com.

Happy Spring everyone!

Please Welcome Our New Lamb

Our latest addition to the flock of Jacob sheep, Puddles, was born during the morning of Friday, March 12th. Mom Sheela and baby are doing fine!
Please Note... the width of the driveway was determined by  a professional driveway contractor. It is wide enough to accommodate 2 cars to pass, as long as the drivers adhere to the speed limit of 5 mph. There is no reason for anyone to drive on the grass in order to let another car pass. We have an underground sprinkler system, and sprinkler heads are not designed to support cars. You are on school grounds, so please slow down for the children's safety!
Don't forget to use "GoodSearch" next time you're searching the internet.  Each time you use "Good Search", after registering Montessori Academy of NJ as your charity, a donation is made in the school's name.

Please consider making "Good Search" your default search engine and spread the word to friends, family and co-workers. This is an easy way to contribute with very little effort.

In addition, you can use "GoodShop" as a portal for ordering items online. Many of your favorite retailers are registered on "GoodShop" and will donate a percentage of your purchases to the school.

Thank you for your support!

Your child may not need snow pants but boots are strongly recommended. Children who are not wearing boots will still go outside but will be restricted to the blacktop during recess.

We will receive 100 points just for enrolling; any time you purchase an eligible product while using your ShopRite card, the points will be automatically added to the school's account.

"The Agony Principle: Parents should never agonize over anything a child does or fails to do if the child is perfectly capable of agonizing over it himself."    From John Rosemond's "Daily Guide to Parenting"
