Fall has arrived! Cooler weather, warm beverages, and changing colors are all part of the landscape of fall in Wisconsin. And with those changing leaf colors comes falling leaves. As such, Village leaf collection will begin next week, October 15.
Each home in the Village will receive four (4) leaf pickups from October through November. Heavy leaf fall and weather can slow the process, so we ask for your patience during leaf collection. Implemented last year, leaves are collected using a single operator, self-contained unit that provides more efficient, safer way of leaf collection.
Residents are asked to please put leaves out only prior to their collection week, and keep piles out of the roadway to provide safe travel for vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Please DO NOT mix leaves with yard waste piles to ensure pickup of all materials.
Yard Waste
Yard waste collection continues through November as well. In addition to regular, bi-weekly curbside pick up, residents can bring both recyclable material and yard waste for drop off on Tuesday, October 16. The drop off will be held between 4-8pm at the sled hill parking lot located of Fairy Chasm Road. |
