The Picnic is Almost Here |
The Village's annual picnic is Saturday, September 8 is from noon to 5: 00 pm at Ellsworth Park. Make sure to bring the whole family down to visit with friends and neighbors. This year's picnic will feature the following activities and refreshments for Bayside residents of all ages to enjoy:
- Ice cold beverages;
- Hotdogs, brats, and corn-on-the-cob;
- Popcorn;
- Live music and games;
- Rock climbing wall and bounce houses;
- and more!
We rely on great volunteers to help make events like this possible. If you are interested in volunteering to help with serving food, refreshments, or to help set-up, please contact Lynn at 414-351-8811. See you there!

Become a Crossing Guard

Keeping Village streets safe for pedestrians and motorists is one of the Village's top priorities. A large part of this is promoting and enforcing crosswalk safety, especially when children are present. If you are interested in volunteering to be a crossing guard, fill out this application and email it to Kelly Herda. |
Road Construction Completion Schedule |
The remaining road construction project is schedules is as follows:.
- August 28 - Work on Rexleigh, Maitland and E. Glencoe.
- August 29 - Finish the Rexleigh area, if needed, then go over to the Donges/Glenbrook areas.
- August 30 - Finish the Donges/Glenbrook areas and start in the Orchards Subdivision.
- August 31 - Finish the Orchards subdivision and finish W. Ravine Lane, N. Port Court, W Fairy Chasm Rd., and W. Glencoe Place.
If the contractor is delayed for any reason, such as weather or equipment issues, they will finish on Tuesday, Sept. 4 after the holiday weekend. Shouldering work for the project should take place the week of September 10th. Thank you for your continued patience as the Village completes one of its largest road construction projects in years.

Pay for Village Services and Permits Online |

Residents can now pay for Village services and permits online using credit or debit cards. The process is simple and saves you from making a trip to Village Hall. Simply use the Village's Report a Concern feature to schedule:
- Special pick--ups
- Mulch deliveries
- Recycling/Garbage container rentals or purchases
- Rain barrel purchases
Residents and their contractors can also pay for buildilng, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC permits, along with Certificates of Compliance applications online. Contact Village Hall at 414-351-8811 if you have questions about using this new feature.

Ordinance of the Week: Sec. 86-3 Culvert Installation

Culvert, installation, modification or replacement.
Prior to the issuance of a building permit or any modification or replacement of an existing culvert the applicant shall obtain approval of the department of public works to ensure proper installation of such culvert. The department of public works will inspect the site prior to commencement of work and also after the installation, modification or replacement of the culvert to ensure the culvert has been properly installed and the street or highway ditch has been properly restored. |
