One Month to Go! | |
It's true. There is only one month left to prepare for the Village's final Clean Up Day of the year. Come to Village Hall on Saturday, October 29 from 9 am to 3 pm. Here, you'll be able to properly dispose of the following items:
- Computer Electronics;
 - TVs;
- Garbage;
- Recycling;
- Old Construction materials;
- GoodWill Donations;
- Car batteries;
- Cell phone and ink jet cartridges; and
- Much more.
In addition, SecurX will be on site to shred all your personal documents. Shredding will be available from 12 noon to 2 pm. Can't make the date? You can drop off all items for shredding beginning on Monday, October 17. To participate in the event, please either bring non-perishable food donations for the Hunger Task Force and/or monetary donations for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Autumn Music

Come out to Bayside Middle School on Tuesday, October 4 to meet the new music staff and explore the School's natural prairie. From 5 pm to 7 pm, there will be music provided as you explore the Nature Area just south of the Middle School building.
Their will be hot dogs, chips and water available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting BMS fine arts supplies. Guests are asked to bring a blanket or chair to sit on and to please dress for the weather. See you there.

Are you ready for the Lakefront Marathon? The 31st annual Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon promises to be another exciting sporting event with 3,050 runners from 38 states, Washington DC and 5 other countries convening to participate in the race. 
A Guinness World Record attempt is also scheduled to be part of this year's race. The marathon will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, with a portion of the race in Bayside. Bayside's route consists of Port Washington Road, Fairy Chasm Road to Meadowlark Lane, west on E. Manor Circle, and finally south on Lake Drive. Runners usually arrive in the Village between 8 am-11 am and drivers are asked to please be cautious when traveling during the race. |

Are you in need of a seasonal flu shot? Look no further, the North Shore Health Department will be offering a flu clinic at the Fox Point Police Department Community Room, 7300 N. Santa Monica Blvd. The event is being held on Wednesday, October 12 from 10am - 12 noon.
