Heat related illness

can develop rapidly in extremely hot environments.  Remember to keep hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperature environments.  Take cooling breaks and drink lots of water.

Thought for the Week

Cleaning Day!

We're down to the final few days to get ready.  Come to the Village Hall south lot on Sunday, July 24, from 9am - 3pm, to properly dispose of most everything your house has to offer.

The event is a great way to dispose of all your unwanted items.  Want to find out exactly what can and cannot be disposed of at the event?  Check us out, and remember that we can always use your help.  Thank you to all of the sponsors and volunteers for making this event a reality.  Contact Village Hall today to sign up to volunteer for an hour, a shift, or even the whole day.

Board of Review

Board of Review will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. The Board of Review process allows for homeowners to have a chance to appear in front of the Board of Review Committee to present their case as to why they feel their assessment is too high or too low. The homeowner must submit in writing their estimate of the value of their home at least 48 hours before the start of the meeting to be placed on the agenda.

More information regarding the process along with the form to be used can be found on the Department of Revenue , or by contacting Village Hall.
