Vancouver, May 8 2007 - The inaugural event of the Vancouver Board of Trade's Aboriginal Opportunities Committee took place April 7, 2011. The event Aboriginal Opportunities Forum 2011: Cultivating Prosperity and Empowerment was a huge success. Participants were able to hear a major addresses from National Assembly of First Nations Chief Shawn A-in-chut Atleo and Chief of Tsawwassen First Nation Kim Baird. Delegates also learned from top-notch presenters on emerging land issues and property ownership, education and skills training, and economic development and entrepreneurship.
