Ridley Terminals and Coast Tsimshian First Nation
to sign groundbreaking Opportunities Agreement.
What: Ridley Terminals Inc, a federal Crown Corporation in Prince Rupert, BC and the Coast Tsimshian First Nation, will sign a unique, groundbreaking economic Opportunities Agreement.
The agreement has the potential to become a model for positive, proactive relationship development and new economic partnerships between First Nations and the private sector all across the country.
The agreement will provide First Nations in this community the opportunity to build business capabilities and develop new skills.
First Nations represent over 60% of the population in the Prince Rupert area and are also the fastest growing demographic.
The signing of the agreement will be undertaken as a traditional ceremony.
