The 2011 Walk for Independence on May 1 attracted nearly 200 walkers and volunteers and raised $9,000 for Project Independence. A special thanks to our sponsors for their tremendous support--we couldn't have done it without you! Click here for a recap of the day's festivities and more great photos. Make sure to save the date for next year's walk--Saturday, June 2, 2012.

PROJECT INDEPENDENCE--"I WILL!"
Project Independence is pleased to recognize Robert Watson, PI's Associate Director, for becoming the first member of Project Independence's "I Will" Club. Bob's dedication to Project Independence--as both a long-time staff member and donor--is truly admirable.
You too can become a member of the "I Will" Club by naming Project Independence as a beneficiary of your will, trust or planned gift. Members receive a framed membership certificate and distinctive lapel pin, are listed on our Web site and Year in Review, and are invited to an annual donor reception.
