INTERNET ABUSES & HAZARDS
You can sidestep would-be scammers by following these common-sense rules whenever using craigslist: - DEAL LOCALLY WITH FOLKS YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON - follow this one rule and avoid 99% of scam attempts.
- NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is likely a scammer.
- FAKE CASHIER CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS ARE COMMON, and BANKS WILL CASH THEM AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE when the fake is discovered weeks later.
- CRAIGSLIST IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TRANSACTION, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"
- NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.)
- AVOID DEALS INVOLVING SHIPPING OR ESCROW SERVICES and know that ONLY A SCAMMER WILL "GUARANTEE" YOUR TRANSACTION.
- DO NOT RENT HOUSING WITHOUT SEEING THE INTERIOR, OR PURCHASE EXPENSIVE ITEMS SIGHT-UNSEEN - in all likelihood that housing unit is not actually for rent and that cheap item does not exist.
- DO NOT SUBMIT TO CREDIT CHECKS OR BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR A JOB OR FOR HOUSING UNTIL YOU HAVE MET THE INTERVIEWER OR LANDLORD/AGENT IN PERSON.

Greetings!
The following is some information about a proposal CEO Computers sent:
Recently we gave a major Server and Microsoft Exchange upgrade proposal to one of our clients. As customary with these high ticket items proposals, the client got a few other bids just to make sure they were getting the best value for the investments.
Well we won the bid but the client went one step further before the final signing of the contract and asked a friend of theirs who is an IT manager with a major Defense Contractor in Southern California to interview us and go over the proposal. We gladly complied and answered all his questions regarding why we proposed what we proposed and the reasoning behind the solutions. He checked our pricing and told our client that our prices were very fair and the solutions suited them the best.
This experience made us very proud that firstly we won the bid and secondly, the client did their due diligence when it came to such a large investment that would affect the present and the future of their organization.
The most important thing in this transaction is the trust of the client. Several years ago I came across a formula that defined trust as equal to
Business = rapport +credibility-minimizing risks.
We have a rapport with our clients because they have been with us for over 20 years. The credibility comes from our knowledge, experience and integrity. The minimizing risk is their due diligence by asking for other bids and consulting with knowledgeable friends who can look at the bid(s).
We as a vendor have to do our due diligence when we recommend a solution that is carefully weighed to make sure it pays off for itself in a short period of time and achieves the client's business goals.
We know upgrading and selecting a solution is a confusing, time consuming and daunting.
CEO will be glad to answer all your questions and submit a bid for your upcoming projects no matter how big or small.

Reputation Management
The following information is from Wikipedia:
Reputation management is the practice of monitoring the reputation of an individual or brand, addressing contents which are damaging to it, and using customer feedback to gain insight or get early warning signals to reputation problems.
Online reputation management is the practice of monitoring the Internet reputation of a person, brand or business, with the goal of emphasising positive coverage rather than negative reviews or feedback.[1][2][3]
Doing reputation management for individuals is often referred to as online identity management (OIM), online image management, online personal branding or personal reputation management (PRM).
Reputation.com is one of the largest companies handling reputation control. The following is information from their website:
Before doing business with you, people first look you up on Google. If they see anything negative - true or not - they'll go elsewhere. We make sure customers only see the truth about your business by eliminating negative material from your top search results, including:
- Unfair news articles
- Disparaging blog posts
- Exaggerated reviews
- Hostile forum comments
- Outdated legal issues
- Blatant smear campaigns
How we change your search results.
When deciding how to rank webpages in their results, search engines like Google act a lot like tabloid news weeklies - they rank pages in order of popularity.
Unfortunately, that includes outdated, inaccurate and misleading material. And the longer that material appears, the more new customers it scares off.
So, in a nutshell, we make your business' positive pages "more popular" than its negative pages. We don't actually delete any webpages (only the person who posted it can do that), instead we simply make unwanted pages about your business rank lower in search results so that virtually no one ever sees them.
While that may sound simple, it actually requires an incredible amount of time, effort and some serious science. Even with our proven, award-winning (and now patented!) technology, affecting Google results doesn't happen overnight, but it does.

Ask the Professor - Cecile Bendavid | Professor of Computer Science - California State University Northridge and Director of New Business Development for CEO Computers.
Question for the professor - J:
How do I keep personal information from showing up on the web (google...etc). Searching my name gives home and work information and I keep requesting deletion and don't know what is triggering this.
Answer: We did some research and found Reputation Management software (starting at $99 per year). We couldn't find any software that will keep your personal information from the web. There is even a virus called "personal information security 2011" that requires a tool to remove it from a computer. Software: Reputation.com, reputation manager.com, and Online Reputation Manager |
