30 years ago today, we lost a music legend. As we mourn this loss today, a little known fact is that at 5 1/2 years old, John Lennon (pictured) was "expelled" from Kindergarten for misbehavior.  Fortunately, he had the drive and passion to pursue his first love of art and music in spite of these challenges, but what about those young students that don't have the same drive? Don't we owe all kids a chance to experience their creative talents?   

 First Note is a teacher-friendly, easy-to-use, DVD-based music curriculum that can be facilitated by virtually any and all teachers. We're working hard to make this program available to all schools so even in those rare cases where a five year old boy (or girl) misbehaves, he can still explore his musical gifts!
