What teachers are saying about First Note
'I can tell this program has a lot of heart and soul put into it'
'I really like the idea of the Music Man teaching the program'
Jodi, Music Specialist
From our Program Director Paulette Evans
It's been great getting the word out about the'First Note' music program. We have trained teachers in 10 states and have 45 teachers trying our four-lesson demo, with almost 1,000 kids participating.
The feedback we have received has been very positive and teachers and students are shaking shakers and moving to the music. The Music man is a big hit as he leads kindergarteners through a series of fun, interactive movements that involve learning words like 'Tempo' and 'Rhythm', making sounds like a rattlesnake tail and a train. It's a program that keeps kids moving to the rhythm! Teachers especially like the multi-cultural piece where special guests visit and introduce an instrument from their native country.
We are looking forward to continued feedback from our teachers as they work through the lessons. We'll be sharing their thoughts and comments over the next couple of months.
