| First Note seeks additional test schools
Now that our test program is complete and our first training is behind us, we are looking for additional schools that would like to participate in the 4-lesson pilot. There is no cost to the schools other than we ask them to provide us with constructive feedback that will contribute the 60-lesson 2-year final version.
Initial responses are all that we had hoped for in that the program is fun and virtually anyone can teach/facilitate it. We'll be spending time observing classrooms and taking notes so the final program is just that much better. This is really exciting!

Many thanks to all those who made this possible. Much has been accomplished but the big work is still in front of us. Budget cuts are adversely impacting music teachers and music programs across the country. If First Note can have even a small impact on our young students lives then we have much to celebrate.
