"Back to School" Tips for your pet
Transitioning into Fall

September means summer is over and it's time for kids to get back to school. For those of you who have dogs, this break in routine means that we should think of the impact this has on the dogs. Here are some tips to make the transition go smoothly for your family and your beloved pooch.

Even though your dog wasn't at work or school all day, he still needs time to unwind from his day. Make it special for him and for your family... more

Happy Tails at PARL

When we started to research what kind of dog we wanted, we found the PARL website and decided we wanted to give a shelter dog a happy, forever home.  We continued to check the website daily to search for a dog that would fit into our lifestyle and that would get along with our 8 year old cat. We saw Jethro's picture and loved his forehead wrinkles... more
