Fleece Blankets!
Can you help keep our dogs warm this winter? We are accepting donations of new fleece blankets to keep our dogs nice and cozy while they await their forever homes. Any shape, colors or sizes are welcome but medium or larger sizes are especially needed!
Donations can be brought to the League six days a week, visit our hours/directions. |

PARL Kick-off the Holiday Season!
Annual Holiday Social & Open House
 PARL's Holiday Social is this Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 PM. We invite you to come visit our animals, enjoy behind-the-scenes shelter tours and see YOUR support in action!
We'll have tasty treats, great holiday gifts for pets and pet-owners alike, PARL's Holiday Raffle, pet photos with Santa, and a Blessing of the Animals at 2:00 PM. Leashed dogs are welcome in outside areas.

 Friday, December 11th at 6 PM Comedy Connection / 39 Warren Ave. / East Providence Enjoy a night of fashion, comedy, and fun hosted by Furry Friends Pet Care. This evening will include a dog fashion show, a raffle, and great live auction items including a Florida vacation package, and a night out for 12 at Comedy Connection. Door prizes include a $500 Swarovski gift basket! |

Forever Home, Forever Loved
Has your loved one been considering getting a pet? Does your friend love to buy treats for their dog or cat? PARL gift certificates can be used to cover adoption fees, or to purchase the pet supplies and toys available for sale in PARL's lobby.

This month, PARL will have a selection of pet-goodie gift baskets available for sale. There will be many selections to choose from that may include anything from toys, to grooming tools, to decorative collars and leashes. We'll even have stylish doggie attire for the well-dressed pooches you know!
The Gift of Compassionate Care
Make a donation to PARL in honor of your loved one! PARL will send a letter to the honoree to let them know you have made a gift on their behalf to support compassionate care for Rhode Island's homeless animals. When you make an honorary gift of $50 or more, PARL will send your honoree one of our limited edition holiday ornaments!

Happy Tails
Chloe's Happily Ever After...
 I just wanted to thank everyone at PARL. I was there yesterday to adopt a cat. I got the best cat ever and everyone was so nice and helpful. I didn't pick this cat. She picked me. Just crawled right into my lap while I was talking with a volunteer. She adjusted right away to our home and is living in a 3 story victorian home in Edgewood. She has free roam of 4 floors and hasn't finished exploring yet. Even had a visit to a groomer for a nail trim today. She is sweet and affectionate and layed right across my husband and my lap to watch the Yankees game last night. Attached is a photo of Chloe in her new home.
