CANNED Cat & Dog Food!
We sure have a lot of hungry mouths to feed at PARL! We have plenty of dry food but could use some yummy canned food for the cats and dogs here at our shelter. Everyone likes variety, right? Any type of canned food is appreciated - for cats, dogs, puppies, or kittens. PARL's animals (and people) are grateful for any brand, and any number of cans. Thank you!

Shop 4 A Cause
Whole Foods Rocks!

During the month of August, the University Heights Whole Foods Market on North Main Street in Providence collected donations for Pet Walk through a cookout called the "Dog Days of Summer" as well as "check-out" coupons. Shoppers had the opportunity to donate either $2 or $5 each time they made purchases through the entire month.
Whole Foods not only raised over $600, but they also donated money, recycled shopping bags and sandwiches to our event! Our deep appreciation goes to the hard work of Whole Foods Market's Marketing Team Leader, Bonnie Frechette ("pictured" above!). She is a true friend to our animals!
We encourage our supporters & friends to frequent such a wonderful supporter of PARL.

Happy Tails
Love IS Adoptable...just ask Kristen!
Marcus (the brown rabbit on the left) was at PARL for two months before being adopted. Marcus is now happily at home with Hazelnut (another rabbit!)
Dear PARL, Marcus (now named Walnut, or "Wally"), the four year old rabbit I adopted from PARL is doing great! He and my other rabbit, Hazelnut, were fully bonded after only 5 days! They love each other, and have so much fun hopping around and chasing one another, and they both follow me around like puppies! Wally is eating well, passed his first vet exam, and even likes my roommate's dog. I simply adore Wally, and I could not have ended up with a nicer rabbit! Thank you, Kristen |
