I am pleased to invite you to attend a webinar led by David Makovsky, on "Middle East Peace Negotiations: Is There a Chance for Success?" Sponsored by the Berman Jewish Policy Archive @ NYU Wagner and the Association for the Social Scientific Study of Jewry, the talk will take place at 12 noon - 2 PM, Eastern Standard Time.

As you may know, David spent many years in Jerusalem as a writer for the Jerusalem Post, before moving to Washington Institute. His last book, written with co-author Dennis Ross, Myths, Illusions, and Peace: Finding a New Direction in the Middle East appeared just a few months ago.

David Makovsky is the Ziegler distinguished fellow and director of The Washington Institute's Project on the Middle East Peace Process. He is also an adjunct lecturer in Middle Eastern studies at Johns Hopkins University's Paul H. Nitze SchoolRSVP of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He is the co-author with Dennis Ross of the recently released book, Myths, Illusions, and Peace: Finding a New Direction in the Middle East (Viking/Penguin), as well as many other publications.
