Getting There & Staying There
Stronger Faith for "Times Like These"
When the outward physical evidence shows that you are losing in the game of life -- get ready to make a comeback with stronger faith for 2009!
We get stronger faith by reading, saying, and praying Bible promises. Saying and praying Bible promises will feed your soul and spirit. (We feed our bodies physical food every day -- we also need to feed our soul and spirit with Bible promises every day.) We were created that way!
Faith that gets real life results is "voice-activated!"
For example:
We activate our faith when we believe, pray, and say:
"The Lord is on my side, I will not fear"
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
"By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed" "Thanks be to God who always leads me to victory, through Christ"
"I'm an overcomer and more than a conqueror, through Christ"
"Jesus is my Lord, Savior, and king!"
With stronger faith in Christ and His Word -- you can rise above every challenge. Begin to stretch your faith for victory over depression, worry, sin, past hurts, sickness, and negative thinking.
Faith is believing and acting on the promises of God -- "before" you see the results in the physical world.
You will be amazed when you boldly pray in faith to receive the Bible promises that have been secured through the Cross and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus. (He is The champion! He is awesome!)
Why do we need stronger faith?
* We are "saved" by grace through faith.
* We "live" by faith, and please God by faith.
* We are filled with the Holy Spirit by faith.
* We are healed by faith. (Doctors & medicine are wonderful and amazing -- but the healing comes from God.)
* According to our faith, God's blessings will be activated in our lives.
* Faith gets stronger by hearing the Word of God.
* With the shield of faith we quench the fiery darts of the wicked one.
* Our prayers are answered through faith in Christ and His Word.
* Victory over fear, sorrow, sickness, poverty, addictions, and sin are won by faith in Christ and His Word.
* If we love the Lord we will keep His Word and grow in faith.
* Faith is energized by praying in the Holy Spirit.
* Without faith it is impossible to please God.
