Greetings!
Rich
In this issue of Do You Copy!
I want to tell you about a company which I covered last year. But since today is Opening Day for the Orioles, I thought I would cover them again.

I also have some exciting news from Toshiba and have a new product to introduce to you.
Customer Spotlight

Landmark Parking, Inc. has been serving customers in Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia for several years. With today being Opening Day of the Baltimore Orioles season, it's easier to find parking thanks to LPI.

One thing I never liked about going to watch the Orioles play was driving around searching for a parking place. Gregory Hatfield of Landmark Parking, Inc. has taken that frustration away. When you go to LPI's website, www.landmarkparking.com, there are maps of all of their parking facilities as well as the option to purchase long term parking or coupons good at any location whenever you are in town. How much easier can it be?

Of course Landmark Parking, Inc. offers other services such as Valet Parking for any event, Parking Lot Repair and maintenance, Line Striping Services, and, much more!

TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. EARNS TOP CHANNEL'S CHOICE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE AWARD FOR NINTH TIME

Toshiba Receives Three Channel's Choice Awards From Business Technology Association

IRVINE , California   ( Mar 03, 2008 ) :
Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) takes great pride in announcing that the Business Technology Association (BTA) today awarded TABS with three Channel's Choice awards - including the top Superior Performance Award - at Toshiba's 2008 National Dealer Meeting held at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in North San Diego, Calif.  In addition to earning the top honor, TABS also was presented two additional awards for excellence in Corporate Support and Distribution.

"On behalf of the volunteer leadership of the Business Technology Association, it is a privilege to extend to TABS our congratulations on the outstanding support the company provides its dealers," said Brent Hoskins, executive director, BTA.  "The three Channel's Choice awards earned by Toshiba this year make them the top winner over any other manufacturer.  TABS' leadership is to be commended on a job well done."

The Channel's Choice awards are based on a nationwide survey distributed to a number of independent office technology dealers, designed to recognize the best suppliers in several different performance categories.

"Toshiba is honored to have captured three of BTA's Channel's Choice awards.  Being singled out by members of BTA and others is a great validation that we are providing the tools, training and services needed by today's independent dealer," said Mark Mathews, president and chief operations officer, TABS.  "We are proud to support independent dealers and help them grow their business today and well into the future."

This year, BTA received 275 ballots from independent office technology dealers throughout the United States.  Results were tabulated on BTA's behalf by Industry Analysts, Inc.

New Products

TOSHIBA EXPANDS ITS COLOR PRODUCT LINE-UP WITH NEW E-STUDIO™5530C PRO AND E-STUDIO7030C PRO

Toshiba expanded its color product line-up with the new Toshiba e-STUDIO™5530c PRO and e-STUDIO7030c PRO - two fully-featured, high-volume, color digital copiers with optional network printing, scanning and fax capabilities. Replacing the current e-STUDIO4500c/5500c models, the e-STUDIO5530c PRO at 55 pages per minute (PPM) color/60 PPM monochrome, and the e-STUDIO7030c PRO at 70 PPM color/75 PPM monochrome, provide the most powerful, high-volume, light-production color offerings available today.

While the Toshiba e-STUDIO5530c PRO and e-STUDIO7030c PRO may be single-handedly responsible for outputting brochures, booklets, flyers and publications with exceptional 600 DPI image quality, they also can simultaneously and economically handle day-to-day copy, print, scan and fax needs.

Key for many end-users will be the paper handling and finishing features. Each new Toshiba MFP has two Large Capacity Feeder (LCF) options. First is a traditional 4,000-sheet letter-size option that brings the systems' total capacity to 7,400 sheets. The second LCF option allows for up to 2,000 sheets of paper, up to 12"x19" in size, for booklet making or any applications that require letter and legal-size together - such as many title, real estate and law firm print jobs. This is a prime differentiator between this family of products and the Toshiba e-STUDIO6530c series.

Finishing options for the e-STUDIO5530c PRO and e-STUDIO7030c PRO include:    50-sheet or 100-sheet stapling; 50-sheet with saddle stitch (booklet-making); hole punch; and Z-folding to further enhance the aesthetics of copy and print jobs. The interposer for the 100-sheet finisher option is unique because it has two input sources, thus allowing pre-printed covers and/or inserts to be merged with copied or printed pages to produce beautiful, professional looking results at the lowest possible production cost.

In addition to the standard saddle stitch option, there also is a production booklet maker for those customers with more advanced finishing demands. This feature includes greater sheet capacity, and has a trimmer option which takes prints directly from the output tray of the regular finisher and produces nicely bound books. Additionally, the production booklet maker can produce booklets while the copier is processing other users' print jobs for less downtime and enhanced office productivity.
