Walking with Jesus
Colossians imageThe Secret Ingredient
Colossians 1:24-2:5

We are really drilling deep on reorientation of a life in Christ. The hope is for all of us to be challenged to see our whole lives as Christ's and take inventory on where we are withholding. It may be embracing Christ initially, it may be holding on to money, or withholding love. As we move toward Christ, as he becomes center, our life gets turned upside down then reoriented toward healing, hope and truth. In this process we will deal with suffering and pain, this is part of the walk with Jesus. We are being reminded that in this suffering we find the "treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

Just so you know...

Prayer:  Please join us upstairs in the loft at 9am on Sunday mornings for prayer.  The invitation is open to all, but if you are a Sunday morning volunteer we ask that you please make every effort to be there.

The church is now open at 6:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for anyone who wants to come in and spend some time in personal prayer and reflection.

Leaders@7

If you volunteer in any capacity for All Saints Church, please plan to attend this mandatory meeting on Tuesday, May 19th from 7-9pm at All Saints. This will be a time for vision casting, touching bases with your service teams and as a whole, and making sure we are all on the same page as we move forward with our vision.  *Childcare will be provided.

Life Groups: The summer life group launch begins May 17th, with summer groups beginning the week of May 31st.  Any questions can be directed to Stacy Baas at lifegroups@believedoubtseek.org

Children's Ministries: In an effort to take "believe, doubt, seek" to all ages, a BDS time has been incorporated into the 11am children's gathering.  Kids have compiled a list of questions they have about Jesus and faith and each week teachers take time to tackle a question.  The goal is to help the kids "seek" their answers by guiding them through reflective discussion, Bible passages, and prayer.

Youth: The Youth Team will be holding an Amazing Race event for youth this Saturday, May 9th.  They'll meet up at All Saints at 11am and hit the city!

Registration packets for the Annual Youth Group Beach Retreat are now available at the concierge desk!   Any youth in middle school and high school are invited to spend the week of July 5th-10th at Pacific City on the Oregon Coast growing closer to Jesus.

If you have friends in middle school or high school that might enjoy either of these events, or if you have questions, please email: youth@believedoubtseek.org
