This Sunday...
Walking with Jesus
Colossians 1:1-14
 This first message of the Colossians series is an intro into the book and what it means to follow Jesus. This will teach us how we grow up in Christ and how our lives endure the brokenness of the world. This book is written to believers, however Paul's underlying purpose for writing this book is to help all people understand that all are looking for purpose and meaning. There is something greater than ourselves we are after. Only Jesus brings us into the fullness of that. He argues that Jesus is the only real answer to that search.

Just so you know...
General Request: We would like to encourage those of you who get to hang out at All Saints during a gathering that you are not participating in to enjoy your conversations in the Life Group Lounge, downstairs in the Beanaddiction Cafe or somewhere other than the Commons area. It can be distracting to have conversations taking place in the Commons during the message. Thanks for your consideration!
Prayer: Please join us upstairs in the loft at 9am on Sunday mornings for prayer. The invitation is open to all, but if you are a Sunday morning volunteer we ask that you please make every effort to be there.
We are also going to begin opening the church at 6:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for anyone who wants to come in and spend some time in personal prayer and reflection.
Facilities:
- Working to assess our needs and create a timeline for getting new furnaces, installing ceiling fans in the auditorium, and addressing some electrical issues we have.
- Preparing for our Spring Cleaning Day this coming Saturday, the 25th from 9am-2pm. We could use all the help we can get to tackle projects indoors and outdoors. Lunch will be provided so if you plan to help please respond to facilities@believedoubtseek.org
- Looking to publish a calendar of what's happening where and when at the All Saints facilties so that people looking for space will know what's available when.
Men's Ministries: The Men's Ministries breakfast is coming up on May 2nd. All men are invited to meet at All Saints at 9am for breakfast, great company, and Pastor Bill's talk about "sex". A donation of $10 is suggested to help cover the cost of food. Sign ups will be available in the Commons, or you can RSVP to life@believedoubtseek.org
Life Groups: The summer life group season will begin the week of May 31st! If you are interested in leading a life group this summer, stop by the concierge desk for an informational packet and sign-up to have our life groups coordinator to contact you. Or just email Stacy Baas at lifegroups@believedoubtseek.org
*The date for the life group leader training meeting has been changed to Sunday, May 17th immediately following the 11am gathering.
Events for All Saints Volunteers:
- Leaders@7 on Tuesday, May 19th from 7-9pm at All Saints. A time for vision casting and touching bases. If you serve at All Saints, please make your best effort to be here for that meeting.
- Volunteer Appreciation Night on Friday, June 5th. This is our opportunity to show our appreciation for our volunteers with some great food, fun awards, and other surprises.
Children's Ministries: On Sunday, May 3rd Children's Ministries will continue a tradition of reaching out to our neighbors by delivering spring flowers to their doors. Please help by donating potting plants for the kids to deliver on May 3rd and/or volunteering to join the kids and the Children's Ministries Team for the deliveries. If you have questions or would like to help please contact kids@believedoubtseek.org.
Youth: The Youth Team will be holding an Amazing Race event for youth on Saturday, May 9th. They'll meet up at All Saints at 11am and hit the city!
They are also beginning preparations for the Annual Youth Beach Retreat coming up the week of July 5th!

At All Saints we have made it a priority to continually work to truly understand the culture we are living and working in so that we can share the abundant life of Christ in a relevant way. Beginning this Thursday, April 30th All Saints would like to host a series of forums to continue to explore our culture in partnership with other church & community leaders. Journey is a series of classes designed to help equip people for their journey as Christ-followers. It also helps us all to get on the same page as to how we define our church character and culture. Journey classes will begin on May 3rd and continue for four consecutive Sundays. Please sign up TODAY at life@believedoubtseek.org and indicate which class you would like to participate in.

Learning to trust and follow Jesus

If you have already completed Journey: Beginnings then Journey: Growth is for you! This Journey plunges into the world of growing by trusting and following Jesus. We will look at living with grace as our foundation, explore the essence of Jesus' invitation to trust and follow him, and begin simple spiritual practices that enable us to grow.
Rather than doing this abstractly, we will focus on trusting and
following Jesus in the real contexts in which we live. To accomplish
this, we have two Journey :: Growth class options: One is for those
who are now beginning (or beginning again) to explore what it means to follow Jesus. The other is for those with more history of following Christ.
