The sound of little feet...
We are very
pleased to share with you that All Saints Church has decided to host Hilltop Children's Center for a period of approximately 4-6 weeks. Meg McNulty, executive director at Hilltop contacted us last
week explaining their need for a temporary facility for their program due to
flooding at their site which is located at the bottom of Queen Anne, close to Seattle Pacific University.
After
several inspections, the All Saints facilities were found to be fit to help with
this need and as of Tuesday, January 13th, Hilltop Children's Center
has been operating out of All Saints Church and will be using the facility Monday through Friday from 7am-6pm, primarily utilizing the downstairs level. On Friday afternoons, Hilltop will help transform some of their space back for our usual Sunday gatherings.
We have long
hoped that All Saints Church could be a helpful resource to our community and
we are grateful for this opportunity to use our facility to help over 50 displaced families. We are grateful to
everyone who helped pull this all together in a matter of days.
If
you have any questions about Hilltop, please feel free
to contact Meg at 206.399.1278 or contact us at the church office for more information.
