It's no longer dark at 4:30pm. And, although it's still early in the year, with the last few days warming up here, you can feel a touch of spring in the air! Last night I even heard the frogs, and the familiar sound of a couple of resident hoot owls talking to each other.
We are cleaning seeds and ordering seeds to start our spring greenhouse planting. Can't wait to see a variety of new little greens! The compost piles are looking good, and I expect that if we can get a couple of days of dry weather, we will be out in the field spreading compost soon.
