GALA was organized to promote the arts as an essential component of a healthy community. We believe that artistic expression is a community's greatest legacy for future generations. GALA will increase awareness and appreciation of the arts by way of exhibits, instruction, theater productions, musical programs and provision of scholarships to students in local schools.

Thanks to our artists, musicians, volunteers & donors
for the success of the GALA Fall Art Show & Sale!
A steady stream of people visited the show over the course of the weekend and both the Friday music night and Saturday artists' reception were well attended. And once again, a large, enthusiastic audience recognized the award recipients.
The success of this show and of the GALA organization itself would not be possible without our incredible volunteers and we offer them our sincere gratitude (see list).

A number of GALA artists have work on exhibit in this show. Barbara Chapman has two oil paintings on display, "Pears in Shadow" (shown at left, which won First Place in Oils at the recent GALA Fall Show) and "Onions and an Apple".
Artists Demos: Tues. Dec. 6, 12-3 pm, Phil Bean, Jeanie Doris and Mary Iselin will demonstrate painting with oils in the upstairs gallery.

 Several GALA artists (Sharon Jordan Bahosh, Len Haug & Lori MacDonald) have their artwork featured in the 2012 Princeton/Wachusett calendar. Calendars are for sale at several locations in the Fitchburg/Leominster area .
