GALA Newsletter
GALA was organized to promote the arts as an essential component of a healthy community. We believe that artistic expression is a community's greatest legacy for future generations. GALA will increase awareness and appreciation of the arts by way of exhibits, instruction, theater productions, musical programs and provision of scholarships to students in local schools.

Linq CD Release Celebration
| Join Linq on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 pm as she celebrates the release of Caught in the Act Acoustic in "the back corner" at Bruce's Browser,
1497 Main St, Athol, MA. This up-close-and-live CD features only her warm alto, a clear expressive guitar and light percussion. She's stripped away the production, boiling it down to the essential elements of melody and lyrics. Most of the songs have been previously released with her studio band and she's thrown in a couple of new ones that you'll recognize from her more recent live performances. So come on over and hang out. She'll be playing a few of the tunes and autographing CDs. You can also enjoy the refreshments, chat with friends (and meet new ones!), browse the store...you get the picture. Linq's website: www.linqmusic.com |
