Greetings!
|
Thanks to our artists, musicians, volunteers & visitors the GALA Spring Art Show & Sale was our most successful ever!
We experienced record attendance and sales! An estimated 400 people visited the show over the course of the weekend. We sold 14 pieces of art from the show as well as numerous items from the Art Shop. The Friday night reception
was very well attended from beginning to end and there was an enthusiastic audience for the awards announcements. The phenomenal success of this show and the growth enjoyed by the GALA organization is due in large part to our wonderful volunteers and we offer them our sincere thanks ( see list).
A special thanks goes to the following volunteer coordinators whose skill and
hard work were instrumental in the success of the show: Vicki Heidorn-Overall
Event; Jan Queijo & Lucinda Oates-Art Shop; Chris Grossman-Raffle; Jeff Gallant-Financials; Luis Gonzalez & Vicki Heidorn-Music; Sally Sargent-Artist
Statements; Anna Ruuska-Art Drop Off & Data; Chuck Heidorn-Installation; Ed Schneeflock-Publicity
Material; Ellen Schneeflock-Food Table & High School Student Invitational.
Please patronize the businesses and thank the individuals that donated and tell
them that you appreciate their generous support of the arts ( see list).
We want to express our appreciation to the Polish American Citizens Club ( PACC) for their
generosity in hosting our event at their beautiful facility!
Thank you to our distinguished judges: Julie Tremblay, Hagop Aprahamian and Hrair Aprahamian for their expertise and dedication!
And of course, we want to express our gratitude to the artists and musicians
who shared their marvelous artwork and talent with the community!
