GALA Newsletter GALA was organized to promote the arts as an essential component of a healthy community. We believe that artistic expression is a community's greatest legacy for future generations. GALA will increase awareness and appreciation of the arts by way of exhibits, instruction, theater productions, musical programs and provision of scholarships to students in local schools.

Fall Art Show Nov. 7, 8 & 9

The time for the Fall Art Show is drawing near! All professional and amateur artists, 18 years and over are welcome to submit three original and recent (within past 2 years) works. The show will be judged and prizes awarded at the opening reception. Show your support by placing an ad in the show program for only $10 for the business card size. Financially Challenged? Hanging fees are waived with $30 in donations
or ads. Other creative funding will be approved at the discretion of the
treasurer. Important dates to remember:

artists are invited to show their work at the Greater Gardner CDC, 246 Central Street,
Gardner. The Greater Gardner CDC is a non-profit organization that provides an
Internet caf� and learning center, helps people and small businesses get on
track, and also offers classes and opportunities for first-time
home buyers.

showing through October 20th: Daniel M. Groth, Naida J. Knox, Sally
Sargent, Mary Dunn, Priscilla Mavrikis-Walker, and Gary Ruuska.
We are looking to
